The Story Prize Spotlight Award
Killing and Dying was this year's winner of The Story Prize Spotlight Award. The prize honors "promising works by
first-time authors, collections in alternative formats, or works that
demonstrate an unusual perspective on the writer's craft." The full announcement can be read here.
The Paris Review
Cover illustration for the Spring 2016 issue of The Paris Review. In addition to contributing the current cover, Adrian will be a "writer host" at The Paris Review Spring Revel. The annual gala, held on April 5th at Cipriani 42nd Street, will honor Lydia Davis and others to be announced. Other writer hosts include: Chris Bachelder, Elif Batuman, Michael Cunningham, Matteo Pericoli, Katie Roiphe, Norman Rush, Luc Sante, Leanne Shapton, Akhil Sharma, Zadie Smith, Gay Talese, Adam Thirlwell, and many others.
